Internships for School Students

Your first look at the world of work

Are you just starting to explore career options and want to discover different professions? A high school internship at Crespel & Deiters gives you a realistic view of day-to-day work in a modern industrial company.

You can shadow any of our eleven apprenticeship tracks and experience very different work environments:

During your school internship at our Helmond site, you can gain hands-on experience in three key areas:

  • Quality: Learn about quality control processes and testing methods that ensure our products meet the highest standards.
  • Technical Services: Get exposure to maintenance, process optimization, and the technical systems that keep our operations running.
  • Production: Experience how we transform plant-based raw materials into high-quality ingredients and see our manufacturing process in action.

At the start of your internship, you’ll receive a personal welcome and a guided tour of the company. You’ll then get insights into the day-to-day work of different departments and try out simple tasks yourself. Along the way, you’ll meet apprentices and employees and have the chance to ask questions. At the end, you’ll receive feedback on your internship and a certificate of participation for your records.

To help us plan your internship, please send a short cover letter that includes your school, grade level, desired internship dates, and your preferred areas of interest. We also need your resume and your most recent report card.

Internships for University Students

Where theory meets practice

Are you studying and want to put your knowledge into practice? During an internship or while writing your bachelor’s or master’s thesis at the Crespel & Deiters Group, you’ll work on real tasks and projects—in an environment that combines tradition with high tech and sustainability.

Depending on your degree program and interests, you can join, for example, in:

  • Research & Development
  • Quality Assurance & Quality Management
  • Production & Process Engineering
  • Planning & Logistics
  • Sales & Marketing
  • IT & Business Solutions

You can complete a required internship, a voluntary exploratory internship, or a practical semester/co-op term at our sites in Zwingenberg, Ibbenbüren, and Helmond. In coordination with the relevant department, a bachelor’s or master’s thesis is also possible.

You’ll contribute to concrete projects, have dedicated points of contact and receive regular feedback, gain insights into an international, family-owned company, and grow your network. Depending on fit and business needs, a thesis project or a subsequent entry may also be possible.

Please send your resume, a brief statement of motivation (focus area, timeframe, goals of the internship), proof of enrollment, and—if available—your academic transcript. Also include your desired internship dates, your preferred department, and whether the internship is required for your degree.
