Support from our experts

In both Food and Industrial Solutions, we are not only ingredient suppliers but also dependable partners. Our specialists help you increase process efficiency, and stability and make operation easier for your teams.

We provide know-how Service included in every solution

Service at Crespel & Deiters is split into two dedicated expert teams -Food and Industrial Solutions.

Both teams share the same objective: to ensure that our ingredients and adhesive systems deliver maximum performance and value in line with customer-specific processes.

Crespel & Deiters technical service expertise focused on plant performance, adhesive behavior, and process stability on corrugators and paper processing lines, ensuring reliable and efficient industrial operations.

For Industrial Solutions

Our technical service engineers focus on plant performance, adhesive behavior and process stability on corrugators and paper lines.

Our application experts work on formulations, applications and scaling up recipes on our customers’ production lines.

For Food

Our application experts work on formulations, applications and scaling up recipes on our customers’ production lines.

Industrial SolutionsMaximizing performance on corrugators

For Industrial Solutions, technical service at Crespel & Deiters optimize corrugators so they can run at their full potential. In the corrugated board industry, our engineers fine-tune corrugator settings and related equipment to work reliably with our high-performance adhesives. With more than 35 years of experience in corrugated board bonding, our team is familiar with virtually every common machine type – including typical requirements and limitations. The objective is always the same: stable bonding, less downtime and higher output on existing lines.

Our specialists also come on-site to review the entire process – from adhesive preparation and application through to drying and board quality. They check settings, identify bottlenecks and give clear, practical advice for improvement. Because we work independently of machine manufacturers, we provide objective recommendations for all equipment regardless of brand, generation or build year. This helps our customers make sound decisions on adjustments, upgrades and future investments.

Process optimization, training and long-term support

Technical service goes far beyond commissioning or a single trial. Our engineers support customers during test runs, ramp-up and day-to-day production – optimizing parameters, stabilizing performance on demanding paper qualities and reducing waste.

Targeted training enables operating staff to apply and maintain the preferred settings with confidence.

Depending on individual needs, support can include regular audits, KPI documentation and remote assistance. This keeps adhesive systems and equipment aligned, even when your processed products mix or market demands change. That’s why we see technical service as a long-term partnership and key lever for higher productivity and consistent, reliable board quality.

Clear customer focus

Our customers are at the center of what we do today and in the future. We listen carefully, analyze processes step by step and recommend solutions that fit real operating conditions as well as business goals. In doing so, we combine growth with profitability that is both sustainable and transparent. Our aim is to create solutions that are valuable in practice, not just on paper.

FoodFrom concept to recipe

In the food industry, service is closely connected to product development. Our applications experts and R&D teams work together from the first idea through to a validated recipe. They translate market requirements and customer briefs into concepts that perform reliably in industrial production and meet consumer expectations. This includes both optimizing existing formulations and developing the next successful product on the shelf.

Typical tasks range from adjusting texture, stability or nutritional profiles to troubleshooting, and enhancing existing production lines. Because we understand how our ingredients behave in process steps such as mixing, heating, cooling, frying or baking, we can recommend targeted changes. The result is shorter development cycles, fewer production issues and more predictable performance in day-to-day operations.

Application labs and scale-up support

Our service for Food is backed by modern laboratories and technical centers.

In Zwingenberg/Germany for example, we run bakery, coating and kitchen trials that closely simulate industrial conditions.

At our extrusion innovation center in Helmond/Netherlands, we carry out trials for food, pet food and feed applications under realistic process settings.

In our well-equipped facilities, customers can work directly with our experts to test ideas and refine recipes.

Here, we support projects through all stages – from lab trials and pilot tests to scale-up on our customers’ own equipment. Our teams are by your side during the first industrial runs and provide on-site support for fine-tuning. We also offer workshops and training sessions for development, production and quality teams.
